I think the thing I love the most about fantasy books is that the reader doesn’t know what to expect during those first pages since they are being introduced to an entirely new world. This book is much the same way. From the very first pages, this book is different from anything else I’ve ever read before. The world that Mr. Teller has created in Liefdom is both captivating and descriptive, pulling me along with the main character (a fairy named Gentry Mandrake) until the very end.
Dark and gritty at some points, this story could very much be a new age fairytale. If you’re a fan of fantasy, suspense, or even horror, this book is for you!
